Ben Harper

We lost a remarkable member of the EOC of Suffolk family and the Bellport community.

Ben Harper’s legacy lives on in the youth he empowered, the neighbors he uplifted, and the countless people who were fortunate enough to call him a friend. He showed us what it means to lead with compassion, integrity, and service. Ben was a mentor, a leader, and a steady source of encouragement. He will be greatly missed.

We’re thrilled to share that Donnie Blankenship, Outreach/Intake Specialist for EOC of Suffolk’s Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program, will step into the ring at the 20th Annual Long Island Fight for Charity on Monday, November 24, 2025 at the Hilton Long Island in Melville!
Donnie is boxing not just for the challenge — but to raise awareness for EOC of Suffolk’s SSVF program, which helps very low-income Veterans and their families prevent homelessness and secure permanent housing. 🏠❤️
